The Benue State Judiciary, as at 2025, comprises Twenty Judges for High Court and .
Following the enactment of the now repealed Decree Number 43 of 1998 which introduced the civil service reforms, the Benue State Judiciary was restructured into five departments namely:
  • Litigation,
  • Inspectorates and Area Courts,
  • Administration and Supplies,
  • Finance and Accounts,
  • and Planning, Research and Statistics.
